Why does Workout Prep ask for access to my Calendar?
It saves each session you plan as an event in your Calendar, and reads those events back to show your plan. It uses only the events it created and ignores everything else in your calendar.
Which calendar are my sessions saved in?
Your device’s default calendar. If that calendar can’t be changed, the first calendar on your device that can. Your Calendar syncs those events only through that calendar’s own account, if it syncs at all.
I turned off Calendar access. How do I turn it back on?
Open the iOS Settings app and go to Privacy & Security › Calendars › Workout Prep. While access is off, Workout Prep says so on Home and when you try to save a session, with an Open Settings button that opens the Settings app.
How do I change or turn off reminders?
In Workout Prep, open Settings. Under Reminders, turn Remind me before a session on or off, and choose how far ahead, from 15 minutes to 2 hours. The first time you save a session with reminders on, iOS asks whether Workout Prep may send notifications. If you choose Don’t Allow, Workout Prep’s Settings explains that reminders can’t arrive; you can turn notifications on in the iOS Settings app under Apps › Workout Prep › Notifications.
Do I need Apple Intelligence for the prep brief?
No. When Apple’s on-device model is available, it writes your brief. When it isn’t, Workout Prep builds the brief from its own built-in rules. Either way, the brief is made on your device.
Is the prep brief medical advice?
No. Briefs are general fitness suggestions for convenience only, not medical, therapeutic or dietary advice. The dietary preference setting is a convenience filter, not an allergen or medical safety system.
Does Workout Prep have widgets?
Yes, four: Next Session, Prep Brief, Bag Progress and This Week. Add them from your Home Screen the same way as any other widget.
How do I delete my data?
Deleting a session in Workout Prep removes its calendar event, its details and its packing list. Deleting the app removes everything it stores on your device. Sessions already saved in your Calendar stay there until you delete them in Calendar. The developer holds none of your app data, so there is nothing to delete on a server. If you have emailed support and want that email deleted, write again. See the Privacy Policy.
